OUR HISTORY

In early 2009 KleanSmart Corporation, in response to the growing demand of the existing population in the area, began searching for the right location to set up a Discount Dry Cleaning store that would offer an alternative to area residents who demand high quality service at affordable prices. The Area comprised along Narcoossee Rd, from Goldenrod Rd. to the Hospital development Area adjacent to the 417 Greenway Expressway and Lake Nona Blvd. will go through a period of accelerated growth in the very near future thanks to the incoming health professionals, technicians and staff who will be employed by the Medical Research Center.

It is thus that on December 3rd 2010 KleanSmart Cleaners opened to the public its new Discount Store to serve the Vista Lakes and Lake Nona area at 7444 Narcoossee Rd., Suite 410, which is conveniently located, with easy access for both north and southbound traffic, ample parking and 7 day service. KleansMarts offers excellent prices for both Laundered and Dry Cleaned items. Laundered shirts are $1.69 and most Dry Cleaned items are just $2.89 and feature monthly specials: for the month of March 2011 2-piece Suits are only $5.09. We also ofer Alterations and Repairs done in our premises.

We currently have 6 full time employees who have been thoroughly trained by us, and expect our payroll to grow to 12 people when we reach our design capacity which should happen before the end of 2011.

With State of the Art Eco-friendly technology, personalized service and expertly trained personnel KleanSmart aims to provide the best possible care for all your clothes and garments. We take the utmost care to make our operation as GREEN as possible by using the most advanced technology in Hydrocarbon Dry Cleaning which is at this time the most environmentally friendly solvent, as well as maintaining the equipment in proper working order to prevent the solvent from escaping to the atmosphere. We are also implementing a campaign to recycle wire hangers and always try to use only the adequate number and type of polyethylene bags to protect the garments.

At the time we chose our Narcoossee Rd location we were assured that the widening of the road would be finished before the end of 2010, but as everybody is aware of it is now march 2011 and the work is still going on. This situation has negatively affected our business due to increased traffic jams, confusing signs and the hazard from heavy machinery operating in the area. However, we must say that the customers who have so far braved the road conditions and ventured into our store have been pleasantly surprised by our low prices and excellent quality, so we hope that once the road is finished business will pick up to fulfill our expectations.

Meanwhile, since Dry Cleaning is a Community oriented type of business we have become involved with our neighbors and institutions. We have pledged a portion of our income for the month of April 2011 to the Vista Lake Elementary School through our participation in the Partners In Education Program. We are also in the process of approaching the local churches to develop fund raising programs that should be implemented in the following months.

Although we visited several banks it was not possible to obtain financing for this project; the banks just wouldn´t lend any money to an upstart venture. So we poured a good part of our life savings into KleanSmart because we firmly believe that we have a better product at a lower price and have plans to open new stores in the near future. We want the KleansMart brand to become an icon of great service and top quality at the lowest price.
